What Is The Brit Method?

There are several variations of the Brit Method with different sales videos and different spokespeople. Some push a different software called Copy Buffet. Regardless of the different sales videos, the scam is the same. Make no mistake. This is a scam.

In the Brit Method sales video, the narrator, promises you can make a lot of money fast with their special software. You can be sure the narrator is just an actor reading a script. Nothing he says is true.

Read the Earnings Disclaimer, and you will see that everything promised in the sales video is a lie.

The narrator also promises that this magic software will not cost you a penny. It’s free. Why would anyone give away such a powerful software? Because the magic software is the bait that hooks you into the scam.

Incidentally, the magic software is junk. It will not make money for you. It will take your money. If you let it, it will take a lot of your money.

Is The Brit Method too good to be true? You better believe it!

The Brit Method is a scam of the highest magnitude. It’s yet another binary options fraud from a hidden international organization that spits out “Method” scams by the dozens, including The Irish Method, The Aussie Method, The Singapore Method, The Kiwi Method, The Saffa Method, The Canuck Method and The Malay Method!

Is The Brit Method a Scam?

It’s NOT free! The Brit Method sales video makes a big deal about how their magic software is free. Yes, the software is free, BUT you must deposit at least $250 into your trading account to begin trading. That’s the first scam. It gets worse.

Fake Testimonials.

Beneath the sales video on The Brit Method website, you’ll find several testimonials claiming they made a lot of money fast. However, the images are stock images taken from the internet. They are not real people.

You can easily prove this for yourself. Put your cursor on an image and left click your mouse. A menu will appear. Select “Search Google for Image.” You’ll find pages and pages of the same image used on countless websites.

What is the Brit Method? Is the Brit Method a scam? A Brit Method ReviewAlso, many of the same testimonials appear on the other ‘Method’ websites.

Read the Disclaimer!

The Brit Method earnings disclaimer clearly, states they don’t guarantee anything.

You can read the Brit Method earning disclaimer yourself if you scroll to the bottom of the webpage and click on “Disclaimer.”

Read the disclaimer! The Brit Method does NOT guarantee you anything. In fact, they specifically tell you to seek professional investment advice before using their program.

In other words, they know you won’t make money with their program, and they are legally covering their assets.

The Brit Method Software is Dangerous Junk.

There is nothing special about The Brit Method. It’s just a sales video designed to get you to open an account with an unregistered broker and give them at least $250.

If you open an account with The Brit Method Broker, you will be assigned a so-called investment advisor. The investment advisor is not an advisor, and she is certainly not your friend. Her job is to talk you out of all of your money.

Once you deposit the $250, the so-called broker will manipulate the software to appear that you made a lot of money overnight. You didn’t. They are trying to make you feel so greedy that you foolishly give them more of your money.

If you fall for their trick and believe you made a lot of money, your advisor will pressure you into depositing all the money you can get your hands on. They want $10,000 or more and will make you believe you could be a millionaire if you deposit thousands into your account. It’s just a trick. You will not make money with The Brit Method.

If you give The Brit Method broker your money, you will NOT get it back. Money only flows one way with The Brit Method scam.

To better understand the danger of The Brit Method, you need to know the difference between a legitimately registered broker and unregistered brokers.

Unregistered Brokers.

In any country with a securities market, you will find a regulatory agency that enforces the laws of securities trading. In the US, that agency is the Securities Exchange Commission.

The SEC grants licenses to registered brokers that follow the law and a code of ethics. When a trader is cheated by a registered broker in the US, the SEC has the power to help the trader get his money back.

Unregistered brokers are not licensed or regulated. They do NOT follow the law or any code of ethics. Plus, they are usually based in countries that do not have any regulatory agencies.

When a trader is cheated by an unregistered broker, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Money lost to an unregistered broker is lost forever.

The United States SEC warns that unregistered brokers, like The Brit Method, manipulate their free software program to steal people’s money and their identity.

An unregistered broker is actually not a broker at all. They do not broker trades. They just take people’s money. Money only flows one way with The Brit Method scam.

Calling an unregistered broker, a broker is too kind. It’s like calling someone who breaks into your house and robs you blind an uninvited guest.

The Brit Method will trick you into giving them $250. And they will manipulate the software so you will give them every dime you can lay your hands on.

  1. I’ve never heard to The Brit Method and i’m glad I have now and know to avoid it at all costs. Thank you for posting reviews that are candid and tell the honest truth. There’s a lot of software programs online that ask for A LOT of money in exchange for their ‘wealth’ system. I will definitely never join this program thanks to your review. I’ll be reading more reviews on your site. Thanks!

    1. Hi, Master Aspirations!

You are so right. There are indeed a lot of program online that want a lot of money upfront. Building an online business the right way is not expensive. It’s only expensive when you fall for scams like the Brit Method.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  2. I have not come across this one but I am definitely glad I came across your review! It does not surprise me in the slightest that this is a scam.

The fact that they claim you can make up to $18,000 in a week after joining quickly is laughable to me, but also sad that scams like these continue to pop up.

I agree that there are definitely better ways of making money online through both starting an internet business, as well as finding an online job.

My question is, do you think scam sites like these will ever slow down or be put to rest anytime soon?

    1. Hi, Arie!

Indeed The Brit Method is a real stinker, and as you mentioned, laughable in their claims of making lots of fast easy money.

I’m hopeful that as the internet matures, most people will learn to spot scams from a safe distance. Unfortunately, scams have been with us since before recorded history and will probably remain with us until the end of time. The shell game dates back to ancient Greece. Most online scams are high tech versions of the shell game where the operator controls all outcomes and fake testimonials take the place of shills in the crowd.

In 1573 Thomas Tusser wrote “a fool and his money are soon parted.” And, the famous con-man (“Paper Collar Joe”) Bessimer is thought to be the source of the phrase “a fool is born every minute,” which was coined in the mid-1800’s.

In my experience of investigating scams and communicating with people who have been scammed, plus close observation of friends and family who have been scammed repeatedly, I’m convinced that some people are addicted to scams. They get an emotional high each time they fall for a scammer’s pitch of making fast, easy money and a lot of it. For a moment, a scam addict believes she will soon be rich, their financial problems will melt away and they will be important.

  3. Hi Gary, thanks for raising the alert on this one. I had some experience with trading and it was with registered brokers but having said that, their level of service wasn’t that great either. The SEC regulates these brokers but there is no guarantee regulated brokers won’t foul out. In fact, by the time SEC catches them in their ‘acts of negligence’, it is already too late for the retail traders. I don’t diss all brokers in general but this is one point investors should be mindful of.

    1. Hi, Jude!

I’m convinced the regulated binary options market and the forex market were created for the benefit of large traders. Small traders merely keep the markets liquid to the big boys can score.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  4. I must admit when I saw the headline, I thought this had to do with Brexit; I live in the UK and it’s the latest rant.

How old is this ‘program’. It seems like they are downright out to get people to sign up.

You mentioned that the testimonials are fake and are duplicated across a number of sites. Wouldn’t this be picked up by the Google Search engine as plagiarism?

If so, that’ll be one way of taking down the sites or attributing some form of penalty to them as a lesson.

    Thanks

    1. Hi, Jacqueline!

I can understand the confusion about the Brit Method. Yes, this is an aggressive scam and has been around a few years.

The scammers behind The Brit Method do not rely on the search engines to drive traffic to their websites. Instead, they offer a very high commission to affiliates. At the moment, they are paying a $400 commission. You know if they are paying such a high commission they are making a lot of money from every person they scam.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

      1. Oh wow!!
So it’s the promise of the $400 commission that is getting people to sign up to this scam.

Once again, thanks for your review.

        1. Hi, Jacqueline Smith!

Yes, it is the promise of earning $400 that makes affiliates for the Brit Method trick people. However, I have received messages from angry Brit Method affiliates who claim they were not paid. This is believable. There is no reason to expect a scammer to pay their affiliates. If they scam their customers why wouldn’t they also scam their affiliates?

          Thanks for stopping by,
          Gary

  5. Gary,
    Good job on educating me.
-I liked the upfront message that this is NOT a good buy
    -Excellent paragraph sizes. Not overwhelming
-The content was very informative. Left nothing to guess work
-I like the subject headings. It had flow. I’ve seen some that I would have placed differently.

    Good all around job

  6. Hi Gary,

Another excellent review of a scam. I’m always amazed that people still fall for this kind of thing. I guess it appeals to ‘get-rich-quick-with-no-effort’ mentality.

I think the work you’re doing is amazing and the more people learn about these kind of scams then the better off they will be.

I hadn’t heard of the Malay Method but I will surely flag it up to my friends who have an interest in online business.

    Thanks again,

    ASG

  7. Hey Gary, Thanks again for always being on the lookout for the gold diggers who want to reap where they did not sow. This time it is about the ‘brit method’ of trading where they will tell you their software is free and that you deposit $250 to be able to download and use it for free.
Well, unfortunately for them people these days turn to read reviews like this before deciding on a purchase I say thanks to Gary for creating this blog help save people from making the wrong choices.

    1. Hi, Nyaaba Solomon!

I wish more people would search for reviews before getting involved with scams like the Brit Method. Unfortunately, it is the ones who need to see the truth the most that too often get taken. I suspect some people are addicted to scams because for a short period of time, they feel like they will soon be rich.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  8. Anything that promises guaranteed returns with no other effort required other than putting up the cash…is a scam. Hands down with no confusion, no second guessing, and no doubt…it’s a scam. The sad part is that you could scream warnings at the top of your lungs for all the world to hear for weeks on in but the lure of a free ride will still endure. Thanks for posting!

    1. Hi, Sherman!

You are so right. There will always be someone looking to get something for nothing. I’m convinced many people are addicted to scams and feel high when they are first scammed. For a short time, they believe they are rich when actually, they are more poor than they were before the scam.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  9. I love seeing a review that exposes a scam. You really nailed yours on the Brit Method. Thank you.
I agree with your recommendation of Wealthy Associate as a far far better alternative. And your pointing out that even with WA, you have to work hard. Nothing worthwhile is free, and when a company claims you will get great result with no work for free, it is time to run away from it! Thank you.

    1. Hi, Annie!

The people behind The Brit Method have dozens of “method” sites. They are all nearly identical. Unfortunately, they must snag quite a few people. It’s our greed that does us in and The Brit Method is masterful in how it triggers our greed. Naturally, the more desperate someone is to make money fast, the more vulnerable they are to these scams.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  10. Thanks for warning me about The Brit Method. I was skeptical of the idea that software could make you a successful trader. There are too many variables that go into trading. It sounds like a real con job.

You make a really good point in suggesting people commit to working hard and building a business with a solid foundation. You don’t get something for nothing. Buy building your own online business, you acquire several skills which you can monetize over the course of your life.

    1. Hi, Joe!

I agree. The large trading houses on Wall Street have super computers that automatically make millions of trading decisions a second. These large trading firms continually improve the speed and accuracy of their computers in order to gain a competitive advantage in the market.

“High frequency trading is a catch-all term that describes the practice of firms using high-powered computers to execute trades at very fast speeds – sometimes thousands or millions of trades per second.” (Source: Time)

There is no way on God’s green earth the Brit Method free software can compete with a super computer.

As you mentioned, we can’t get something for nothing. If someone wants to make the big bucks, they will have to work for it. Fortunately, with the right training and after they have learned the proper skills, they can leverage the power of the internet to make a lot of money. The Online Entrepreneur Certification Course is the place to start.

      Thanks for stopping by,

    1. Hi, Joe!

Even after investigating dozens of scams like the Brit Method, part of me still wants to believe in magically software that will make me rich. Fortunately, I don’t believe enough to put my money into the scheme. As you mentioned, the most reliable way to make money is to work for it. Building an online business can leverage your work to create a phenomenal income. I’m surprised everyone is not building an online business.

      Thanks for stopping by,
      Gary

  12. Yes I totally agree with you on this. There is nothing like “make fast money” in this life. I don’t believe in overnight success. You cannot make a fast money . Run away from such sites and from such business models. You will only be throwing away your hard earned cash into the drain. Get a great business model with systematic approach.

    1. Hi, Dr. Patrick Moses Fraser!

I wish more people realized, as you pointed out, that we can’t get something for nothing like the Brit Method claims. Fortunately, we can make money with a legitimate internet business if we help people. When we help people, we create value and when we create value, we can be rewarded.

The internet is the greatest opportunity in the world, but it’s not an ATM and it’s not a lottery. However, for someone who is ready to put in the work, the internet can be a path to financial independence.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  13. Hi Gary,
Great review on the Brit Method. I have not heard of it until I read your review and went and checked it out after reading. It’s simply amazing what companies think they can swindle people with. And even more amazing is that people fall for it. Seriously, within about 30 seconds someone can tell that the Brit Method is pushing not much for your $250 investment. I really appreciate your site and love your reviews – keep them coming! You provide a valuable service! Mat A.

  14. Beyond the fact that your article is very useful to warn people against such scams as this so-called “Brit Method”, I absolutely loved your video! It says it all in less than 2 minutes! And of course I agree that Wealthy Affiliate is the best Internet marketing platform out there. Good job and I’m looking forward to watching other wonderful videos like this!

  15. Hi, Gary.

Let me guess. If I were to actually watch that video in which a person is trying to sell me this company’s line of junk, that in order to sell the product even better he speaks in a distinctly cultural British accent? “I say chap! This product is bloody good and you should take advantage of it, right”?

A pig is a pig no matter how much lipstick you put on it. This Brit method, despite how it might be portrayed by the person shilling it in the video, is still a 100% scam.

Their methods of trying to twist your arm to purchase upsells beyond the $250 price tag, the fake testimonials, the fact that a person would register his/her account with an unlicensed broker all spells out the fact that anyone in his/her right mind has absolutely no business even considering this fraud program.

Your recommendation of Wealthy Affiliate would be a much better choice as a way to potentially earn money online for anyone who has a lick of common sense in between his/her ears.

  16. It’s a shame that there are so many scams out there. It’s one of the main reasons why people fail to succeed online. It gives a bad name the whole making money niche. And worst of all, those scammers get away with stealing loads of money from everyone. It takes a lot of time to find anything legit and worth the time.

  17. Thank you for warning us about the dangers of scam artist programs. These scam programs should be highly illegal in every country.

It pains me that these scammers are able to get away with these unethical practices just because they are in foreign country’s.

The efforts made to abolish these websites are growing, but they always resurface. It’s like night and day. Good and bad. Rip-off sites will always manifest. But thanks to people you like, we are more aware and educated compared to if we didn’t have you.

Thank you for keeping us informed. Keep Avenging us scam victims. For almost everyone has been scammed at least once in their life. We need people like you to keep doing what you are doing for the cause.

p.s. the Brit Method..ha…more like the Rip Method haha

    -Drake-

  18. Hi, Gary and thanks for another good scam review. Actually, I do not want to waste time and dive deeper into the Brit Method junk. But on the other hand, be involved in any scam schemes is the part of Internet Marketing learning process. I have spent hundreds of dollars on various unsuccessful projects, but I have always considered it to be a contribution to the business. The key is to a get away from the scam on time and analyzes what happened.

    1. Hi, Andrejs!

Thanks for your excellent perspective on scams. Like you, I’ve spent a lot of money on scams as I tried to learn internet marketing. I agree, it can be a learning process. Unfortunately, for many people scams derail their efforts to make money online or in some cases totally destroy their finances. However, like you point out, scams are part of the online learning process, at least for those who are committed to learning how to build an internet business.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  19. Thanks for the heads up about this.

It is a real shme that there is not some International organisation that can police for these type of operations and shut them down before they start and before they do any damage.

Taking money off people that saved that money for their future well being and for their pension pot is downright disgusting.

Thanks again for the heads up about this one.

  20. Thanks for a very informative post. It is helpful to expose the method of the scam because names can change but this method will be repeated many more times.

Sometimes, although we know that these scams are obvious scams, we would like to believe it and take the easy way. It is good that there is someone like you to constantly remind us that we should not.

I wonder from where the name came from?

    Fadi

    1. Hi, Fadi!

The company behind the Brit Method scam has about a dozen other scams by similar names. The websites for these other scams are nearly identical to the Brit Method website. I suspect the name is nothing more than a marketing gimmick as there is also the Aussie Method, the Irish Method, the Saffa Method and many more.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  21. Apart from your site doing an amazing job of exposing scammers like ‘The Brit Method,’ I wonder if it is possible to have an agency to regulate these kind of operations.

I mean, as you have mentioned Brit method have other variations and unregistered brokers to operate freely all over the Internet.I really wish that someone could take them down for good.

I am now very familiar with the $250 asking fee.I see that it is a common trend. When I hear that amount, I run far away as I can.

    Keep up the fantastic work

    1. Hi, Roopesh!

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, The Brit Method is an well worn scam. As you alluded to, it’s an old formula that is used by hundreds of “Make Money” scams. Most pretend to be binary options or Forex brokers.

There are efforts to block or take down some of these sites, however, they usually pop up again.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  22. Hi
This is the first time I am learning about this Brit method.
Never heard about them until now. It is very disturbing the way people rob others without any conscience. We really don’t know what to believe any more. Does this mean that the same goes for all the trading online. What about Cfd stocks?

    1. Hi, Stella!

The Brit Method is indeed a blatant scam that will only cost you money, perhaps a lot of money. I agree it is disturbing how scammers rip people off. They are not like you and I. Scammers are probably sociopaths and incapable of empathizing with others.

I do NOT recommend CFD Stocks! You are not trading stocks with CFD and you are NOT investing. You are betting on binary options.  If you read the disclaimer at the bottom of the CFD website, you will see that trading binary options is high risk and speculative. “High risk” means you have a low chance of making money. “Speculative” is what professional investors call gambling. When you enter a binary options trade, you’re just rolling the dice and hoping for the best. Trading binary options is a ridiculous way to try and make money. Don’t do it! You can read more about binary options here.

The only online trading I recommend is buying and holding corporate equities using the strategy of “value investing.” In other words, thoroughly evaluate a company’s stock to determine the underlying value of each share. This will tell you if the stock is undervalued. If it is, it may be wise to purchase some shares and hold them for the long term.

Professional investors know that the money is made going into a deal, not later. Pros buy undervalued equities and wait for the market price to rise. Because they purchased low, they know eventually the market will value the shares accurately and they can cash in. Value investing is not foolproof, but it is legitimate investing and it is the strategy many pros use to build wealth over time. Warren Buffet used value investing to build his billion dollar empire. You can read more about investing here.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  23. Interesting!
I never heard about this scam before, but it is good to be warned. I don’t think that I would have fallen for it, but many people would!
If you have some common sense you should notice that something isn’t alright when you are promised money without work.
I guess, scams like this will exist as long as people are desperate.

    Steve

  24. Hi! Thank you for writing this article and for saving a lot of problems for probably a lot of people.

Unfortunately, a lot of pages like this one are out there in the internet and some of them still manage to steal the money of people.

I am sure you help some people that are quite new to those type of scams and would invest their money in it!

  25. Thanks for the great post. There is a lot of information that I have work through. I appreciate the great article and can tell that a lot of work and research went into putting this together.

There are a lot of scams out there and The Brit Method sounds like one. Thanks for uncovering this scam and keep up the excellent work.
