What is My Super Affiliate Mentor?

Imagine you are walking done the street and you see a hundred-dollar bill on the sidewalk. You walk over to it and check it out. Yep, it’s a hundred-dollar bill. There isn’t another soul in sight.

my super affiliate mentorYou pick up the $100 and put it in your pocket because you’re a smart cookie and you recognize a hundred bucks when you see it.

What does this story about a found hundred dollars have to do with My Super Affiliate Mentor? Everything!

Did anyone have to spend 30 minutes telling you how valuable that hundred-dollar bill is? No, you instantly knew that the bill was valuable. When most people find a hundred dollars, their heart does a little backflip, and they forget to breathe for a moment. Any day you find a hundred dollars is a good day.

My Super Affiliate Mentor Ain’t That.

Unlike our instantly recognizable hundred-dollar bill, the My Super Affiliate Mentor sales video spends half an hour trying to convince you how valuable it is. Remember this, the longer the sales video, the less valuable the offer and the more it will cost you. (See How to Really Make Money Online and Never Get Scammed.)

If My Super Affiliate Mentor was actually as valuable as they claim it is, everyone who tried it would buy it. All the My Super Affiliate Mentor salespeople would have to do is toss you the keys and say take it for a spin. However, that is not what they do.

Instead, the sales video is narrated by a woman who introduces herself as Tanya Christiansen, a deliberately innocent sounding name. For thirty minutes, Ms. Christiansen, who no doubt is a professional voice actress, repeatedly claims that the My Super Affiliate Mentor system will earn a $100,000 for you in 90 days and it will only take 20 minutes of your time each day.

My Super Affiliate Mentor is a Pig in a Poke.

During the entire 30-minute sales pitch she never once says what the system is or how it will work, she only says it’s technical and boring, then gets right back to pitching how you will soon be making lots of money. Once, she says the system is free. It’s not.

She also insists that you trust her and to be ready to take a chance and jump on the opportunity, blah, blah, blah. All the while, there is a clock beneath the sale video ticking down.

Everything in the My Super Affiliate Mentor sales video is a lie. The purpose of the sales video is to get you so greedy and emotionally charged up that when the buy button appears you jump on it without thinking.

ScamAvenger Girl giving thumbs downThe people promoting My Super Affiliate Mentor know their product is worthless. That’s why they mercilessly pound on your greed button for 30 minutes. They are selling a pig in a poke. You have no idea what it is, only that somehow it will magically make you a lot of money, at least that’s what Ms. Christiansen promises.

Is My Super Affiliate Mentor a Scam?

The most dangerous thing about the My Super Affiliate Mentor sales video is that it is designed to press all of your emotional and psychological buttons. The voice actress portraying Tanya Christiansen is not just talking to you.

She is performing from a highly refined and professionally written sales script. Every detail, from the words she speaks to the inflection of her voice, to the paid testimonials, is designed to convince you that you can make money quickly and easily with the My Super Affiliate Mentor program.

They want you to see them as your savior so they can scam you out of thousands of dollars. Here’s how it works.

The My Super Affiliate Mentor leads to a product that costs $37. This product includes an affiliate marketing system based on paid traffic and solo ads. You also get “one-on-one coaching.”

The $37 product is just the beginning. The purpose is to get your credit card info and to connect you with a “coach.” You are told your coach is a millionaire who wants to help you. That’s a lie. Why would a millionaire spend her days on the phone “coaching” people?

The Coach Ain’t a Coach.

The coach is not a millionaire, and she’s not a coach either. She’s a telemarketer. Her job is to push you to buy more expensive stuff, always under the pretense, you will make a lot of money fast. That will never happen, but as long as you believe your coach is your savior with a magical system that will make you rich, you will give them your money.

All you need to know about My Super Affiliate Mentor can be found at the bottom of the landing page where you first encountered the sales video. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will find this line buried in the small text. It says;

What is My Super Affiliate Mentor?
“The typical user does not make any money using this system.”

My Super Affiliate Mentor is NOT about helping you make money. My Super Affiliate Mentor is about taking as much of your money as they can get.

  1. I have been looking for a job for the past 4 months and have not been successful. When I set up for online job sites I get a TON of these emails that promises you will make so much money for so little work. And being unemployed for so long slowly running out of money to survive, you become desperate and will sign on to anything. I rely on websites and blogs like yours to remind me it is a scam and NEVER works. I’ll keep your website on my favorites list.

I thank you for your service.

  2. Gary I just can’t get enough of you and your reviews. I am back and hope you don’t think I am stalking you. I am not, I promise.
Your review of mysuperaffiliatementor is excellent. I would love to see companies like this and there content creators in prison. Seriously, they market trash and are void of any useful content. It is sickening. Money hungry and with no moral code these would be criminals are making true affiliate marketers look bad. This is such a sad thing because it does just the opposite of what it claims and for the person that got scammed, they may never consider starting an online business and miss out on the opportunities that legitimate companies can offer.

Your posts are awesome and I wish you nothing but success. I believe you are offering a fantastic service and hope that you continue in this type of work.
    Blessings,

    1. Hi, John!

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I wish these scammers would go to prison, perhaps some day they will. It takes a particularly callous personality to prey on the innocent. Scammers lack empathy.

I agree that the greater tragedy is crushing the dream in budding online entrepreneurs. I’ve been an online marketer for a little more than eight years and I’m convinced the internet is the greatest chance most of us will ever have to fulfill our potential. This cannot be overstated. To take that opportunity away from someone is criminal.

Unfortunately, the road to online success is block by legions of scammers. Getting scammed seems to be a rite of passage for most online marketers. We all have scars.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  3. Gary,

I’ve always loved your reviews for your honest writing style, again, you nailed it here. It’s been a while since I look at these “make money online” products, by coincidence, though, I bumped into one the other day and it was exactly what you said in the “Is My Super Affiliate Mentor a Scam?” section, they were making this very engaging speech on how this is the way to succeed and that you should give yourself a chance and try this and that. Even the mentality they try to project onto us is toxic. Making money online is not quick and easy and it takes perseverance.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,
    Anh

    1. Hi, Anh!

I appreciate your comment and like you choice of words when you describe online scams as “toxic.” This is so true. Unfortunately, so much online is toxic and it can be difficult to tell the good from the bad.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  4. Hi Gary

Firstly I love the name of your website, truly great title and your article is true to its purpose.

I have been learning online marketing for years and it never ceases to amaze what lengths people will go to online when creating these types of products.

I loved the way you started the article with the $100 bill analogy and explaining about the length of the sales video.

The small print you pointed out is even more incredible actually stating that most people will not make any money with this.

Your style of writing is very straight forward and to the point, clear and easy to consume.

I went to the website as well to listen to the very cheesy sales video. Truly the classic get rich quick sales pitch.

I hope your article will save people money and most importantly all the heartache that goes with these types of scams.

    Barry

    1. Hi, Barry!

I appreciate your kind words. For most of us, making money online takes work. It’s easy work compared to most of the jobs I’ve had in my life, but it’s still work. You and I both know that anyone who tells us different is just looking to exploit our trusting nature. No one can afford to lose money to a scam like My Super Affiliate Mentor.

      Thanks for stopping by

      Gary

  5. ‘The typical purchaser does not make any money out of this system’. Now that actually made me laugh out loud!!
I can’t believe that people get away with this bare faced ripping off of vulnerable people.

Thank you for this article exposing them and thank you for pointing the way to a legitimate affiliate marketing program such as Wealthy Affiliate. It makes no pretenses that you will make thousands within months, only hard work, time and dedication can do that and that is exactly what they teach you.

    1. Hi, Stefanie!

It would be funny if My Super Affiliate Mentor wasn’t so dangerous. I think a lot of people could avoid scams if they would take the time to read the fine print. Or, if there isn’t any fine print, then you know it’s a scam.

Unfortunately, schemes like this are designed to get people emotionally excited. Once we are in the throes of an emotion, particularly when we are feeling greedy, our brain stops working. Greed makes us stupid. That’s when we fall into the trap set by scammers.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  6. This is a good post and your review of Super Affiliate Mentor is a step by step guideline and easy to understand for a newbie. Your recommendation of Wealhty Affiiliate is commendable for anyone looking for an online mentor
and avoiding scams. What is the best way to identify online scams?

    1. Hi, Emmy!

Thank you for your kind words. I do hope my articles helps people avoid the My Super Affiliate Scam and other schemes like it.

You asked about recognizing a scam. Most online scams have similarities to the Shell Game and The Pig in a Poke. You can read more about them in my article How to Really Make Money Online and Never Get Scammed.

A common thread with online scams is an overwhelming attack on your emotion of greed. In other words, they will try to make you feel greedy for the “pig in a poke” they are selling. Once you feel greedy for what they have, you are hooked.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  7. This review literally made my mouth drop. Thank you for posting this. While it’s common knowledge that these types of scams do exist, most scammers use some type of loophole in the fine print. Very rarely do they blatantly put it out there. It’s a serious reminder that reading the fine print is crucial.

  8. wow very impressive page ,very informative and quick to the point of action. Scams on line is a real issue and this web page is really giving a lot of info and solution to individuals who need it. Very well organized. Keep up the good work.Great screenshot images this makes your site more SEO friendly.

  9. Very interesting Gary! Its true, these websites attempt to feed off people looking for a get rich quick scheme. They prey on the procrastinators emotions and give them high hopes that its possible to do nothing and earn big.. funny how the world works. Anyways thanks for the heads up and great article

  10. Great post Gary. Its true you need to work hard and understand the market you are aiming for to earn money. Paying $37 in the hopes of becoming rich is a procrastinators dream and falling prey to these can only hurt peoples bank accounts and trust in the internet. keep it up and thanks for the heads up.

    1. Hi, Elias!

I agree. My Super Affiliate Mentor preys on people who are searching for a way to make fast, easy money. Unfortunately, there are far more offers like that online than legitimate offers. I wish more people would realize that anyone who can write an email and surf the internet can make a full-time income online, but it takes commitment and sustained effort to get there.

      Thanks for stopping by,
      Gary

  11. This is really great. I always wanted to get into affiliate marketing, but there are just so many scams out there. And it gets hard to tell the real from the fake. They promise you this and that, but when you buy into the product, it be complete crap. Worst of all, you can’t even get a refund on your money. So i’m glad you are exposing these scams for what they really are. What do you recommend to learn online marketing?

    1. Hi, Garret!

I agree. It’s disappointing to see how scams mislead people and take their money. My Super Affiliate Mentor is a prime example of empty promises and hype. The internet is still young, but people are learning to see hype for what it is.

Also, legitimate offers know they must prove themselves to you and take grand measures to separate themselves from online scammers. A legitimate offer will have a free trial so anyone can see the value they offer without risking a dime.

The scammer is just the opposite, they will try to get your money before you realize their offer is worthless.

For someone interested in learning how to make money online the right way I recommend the totally FREE Online Entrepreneur Certification Course. It teaches the basics of internet marketing and will show you what it really takes to make money online. It’s not push-button and it’s not autopilot, but it works.

  12. This was a good article and a warning to anyone getting their hopes up about this ruse. Anyone making you feel confident that you can make $100,000 in 90 days is obviously full of it. Anyone who knows anything about making money online(legally) knows that it takes a tremendous amount of time and work. You have to do your homework with things like that and take the emotion out of it.

  13. Thank you Gary for the information you are providing. I’m also very thankful for the people that take their time to exposed scammers so others can avoid the headaches. I love the points you make about these make money quick scams, sometimes desperation or procrastination can make us easy prey to those schemes.
