Magnum Options.

If you visit the Magnum Options website, the first thing you will notice is a very large 81% at the top of the page. Magnum Options promises you can earn up to 81%. That might look impressive, but it’s meaningless.

81% of nothing is nothing. There’s no mention of how this number is computed, but the implication appears to be that Magnum Options has an 81% success rate. They don’t.

Is Magnum Options a Scam?

Magnum Options claims to have the fastest trading software in the industry. This might be true, but it’s not a good thing.

If you read the Magnum Options disclaimer at the bottom of the website, you will see that their magnum options is magnum options a scamsoftware will automatically place a trade if you do not cancel the trade within 3 seconds of being prompted.

It is a damning statement of Magnum Options’ lack of integrity that they bury the 3-second detail in the fine print at the bottom of the website.

When there is money on the line, no one can consistently make good decisions under the pressure of a 3-second clock. That’s insane. Three Seconds! Imagine how fast Magnum Options can clean out your account. Before you know what hit you, you’re broke.

Magnum Options is not a binary options trading platform; it’s a high-speed vacuum sucking every penny out of your account.

Three Things You Need to Know.

Remember these things about binary options.

  1. Binary options are NOT options.
  2. Trading binary options is NOT trading
  3. Trading binary options is NOT investing.

Bonus Fact #1:

Magnum Options is NOT a registered broker.

Bonus Fact #2:

Magnum Options is in Bulgaria. What could go wrong?

Why Binary Options are NOT options.

An option is when you purchase the right to buy something at a later date. For example, you can buy an option to purchase a house for a specific price by a specific date. When you don’t exercise your option, it expires.

In the commodities market, you can purchase an option to buy a rail car of wheat for a specific price and hopefully sell it later for a profit.

Binary options are nothing like that.

Trading Binary Options is not trading.

Trading implies an exchange. We trade baseball cards, or I give you money, and you give me something of value.

Binary options are nothing like that because nothing is traded. When you enter a so-called binary options trade, you are betting that a specific asset will perform a specific action at a specific time and, somewhere in the world, someone else is betting that it won’t.

To win a trade with Magnum Options, you must pick the right asset, the right action and the right time, all within 3 seconds. Good luck. You’ll need it.

Binary Options is NOT Investing.

Binary options, at least for the small investor, is not investing. Remember, if you don’t manage a billion-dollar hedge fund, you’re a small investor. Read How to Invest.

Investing is when you put money into an asset and have a reasonable expectation the asset will increase in value because of what you KNOW about that asset and what you KNOW about the market.

The only way to win with binary options is if you are lucky or you have insider information. There is no other way to win. Gurus can’t help you, and magical software can’t help you either.

You’d do just as well consulting tea leaves. Read more about the evils of binary options here.

Magnum Options is NOT Registered.

Remember all the stuff I wrote about how it takes luck to win with binary options? That is as good as it gets and that’s assuming you are trading with a registered binary options broker.

Magnum Options is NOT registered. This means there is no government agency forcing Magnum Options to obey the law or to behave ethically.

In other words, Magnum Options is free to do whatever they want. And, all Magnum Options wants to do is take your money, all of it, as fast as they can.

Three seconds and it’s gone!

The United States SEC warns that unregistered binary options brokers, like Magnum Options, are suspected of stealing identities, faking losing trades and locking clients out of their accounts.

Did I mention they’re in Bulgaria?

Who Trades Binary Options?

Trading binary options appeal to habitual gamblers for a reason.

If you look at the affiliate programs for a binary options website, you’ll see that they recommend promoting to gamblers. Gambling addicts live for the thrill of putting it all on the line.

I suspect some are addicted to the strong negative emotion associated with losing. Trading binary options will deliver the pain of monetary loss in spades.

However, if you’d prefer not to suffer a financial kick in the crotch, why are you interested in binary options?

  1. Thank you Gary,
I had subscribe for many programs, some are paid and some are free. But unless and until i have never succeed. I waste lots of money in these. Recently i searching for a binary option or any trading platform here yours article gave me very helpful idea about trading softwares.

  2. i absolutely love how you explained this review because without it i would not know what Binary intels or how to go about looking for the right ones. This company very much is a scam from what i can see. I actually never heard of it but thanks for saving me the money and time if i ever ran across it. I was also trying to sign up for your free course but its giving me this error message when i enter my email and i tried 2 different emails it says something about subscribe expired

I hope this helps so that it can be fixed i would surely like to take your course so that i can earn extra income.

    1. Hi, StormyStori!

Thanks so much for telling me the subscribe box wasn’t working. I had no idea. Techie people are scrambling to fix it now. It should be fixed today.

Binary options are not a reasonable way to try and make money. Most so-called binary options brokers, like Magnum Options, are scams.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  3. Gary,

As you discussed in your review, there are so many warning signs clearly present with this opportunity at Magnus Options that a person would be crazy to even consider it as a way to earn money online.

Some of these clear warning signs were the fact that the company is not a registered broker, (and therefore illegal), it originates from Bulgaria, (really?) in place there is a 3-second rule whereby the company will automatically place a trade for a member unless he/she cancels, (also as you stated this rule hidden underneath a bunch of fine print) and finally the lie that a person is “guaranteed” to earn 81% off of any trade that he/she consumes.

Wow, who in his/her right mind would invest even 2.5 cents in this scam venture, let alone the minimum fee of $250 to become a member?

If said it before and no doubt I’ll say it again: There should be some ethical ruling body on the Internet that will police, target, prosecute and eliminate all of these bogus business ventures that continue to pollute the Internet all created by crooks who only want to rob people blind.

The Internet runs amok and thankfully there are people like you, Gary to point out the fraud opportunities that most be avoided!

    Jeff

  4. Oh this sounds so scary. Sounds like a scam in the works. So to throw your money away at a company for something that is not even right? I am looking at getting into investing, so I am a newbie. I am glad you put this information out there for people like me, who need all they help and guidance they can get. I will bookmark your site so I can continue learning and reading.

    1. Hi, Matt’s Mom!

Most so-called binary options websites are scams, but even the few legitimate ones will not make you money. It’s definitely not investing. Since you’re just starting out with investing, you want to read my post How to Invest. I wrote it after I realized that many people do not know the difference between investing, a scam and gambling. That can be a very expensive oversight.

      Thanks for stopping by,

  5. Thank you for the informative review, I am sure that many people siging up for this would assume that it is a genuine financial opportunity. I had no idea that trading binary options is not the same as other types of trading.
I think the idea of checking the affiliate program is a really good one, I had never thought of that before. I wil bear this in mind in the future.
This is worse than normal gambling as there isn’t even any entertainment to be had – plus the 3 second rule is outrageous.
Great article, thanks for exposing this scam.

  6. Thank you for the informative information I tried binary options a little bit you are right it’s more like playing a slot machine if you ask me there are tons of places online claiming the same thing it’s just a big scam thank you for the well-written review and thank you for serving well owe you a big thanks keep up the good reviews and god bless

  7. Yeah I’m not sure how many successful investment options have come out of Bulgaria lol. I didn’t actually realise that binary options trading is not really trading, so thanks alot for the education.

And as always thanks for warning me away from this clear scam which will only burn a hole in people’s pockets. I mean that 3 second disclaimer is disgraceful it’s literally like saying your money is not secure, and can be used at anytime without you knowing lol.

    No thanks

    1. Hi, Marley!

Magnum Options is typical of these sorts of scams. They all throw in a twist about how they’re different, but in the end they aren’t different at all. I think they all read from the same scripts. If people understood the fundamentals of investing they would see through Magnum Options in a millisecond.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  8. Hi Gary, thanks for this review it was very helpful. I really was grateful for your summary video and reminder that online success is ‘no magic button or no magic software’ – as you say absolutely agree it’s all about exchanging value! So important to know that so much offered online is legitimate however unfortunately there is also so much that is not.

    1. Hi, Fleur Allen!

It’s so true, regardless of what scammers want people to believe success takes work, online or off. The amazing thing is, once you know the basics of online marketing, you can leverage the internet to achieve amazing results. However, you must learn the skills first and work to apply them.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  9. Excellent review this was right up my alley as it had to do with trading. I have not traded for years now but I know how easy it is to get burnt. Who in their right mind would do binary options and only have 3 secs to make a decision, like you said these must be serious gamblers. From what I recall about trading is that you have to look at many things before you put a trade on for example their are volatile markets out there like FX and even the futures and commodities. Thanks for the review it was extremely valuable and I will definitely take my trading business elsewhere.

    Craig

    1. Hi, Craig!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your trading experience. Outfits like Magnum Options aren’t really brokers. That’s just the story they tell to get people’s money. The 3 second clock they force on traders is only mentioned in the fine print.

      I appreciate your comment,

      Gary

  10. Most binary options and others broker gain attraction by showing a posh lifestyle and over promise claims to try to make people believe that you can earn big bucks from binary. Indeed what you mentioned here “Binary Options is NOT Investing.” is very correct.

Thanks also letting me know Magnum Options is not Registered and I personally find this very important if you going to put your hard earned money into this account. What about this company get “burst”?

I’ll be on my toes and thanks for heading up.

    1. Hi, Maxx!

There are very few registered binary options brokers. NADEX and CySEC are two. Trading binary options comes down to no chance to win with unregistered brokers and a slim chance to win with registered brokers.

For anyone consider trading binary options, it is essential to understand that the binary options market was created to benefit big traders, like hedge funds and pension funds. Big traders have the insider information that is critical to winning trades. The small trader can only win if he’s lucky. That’s as good as it gets.

With an unregistered broker, you are not trading at all. You are merely giving your money to a stranger in a foreign country and expecting a miracle. You will lose every time in that deal.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  11. A first look at this review, as well as looking at Magnum Option’s site, it is easy to see that it is a scam. Usually, when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I like your words a the end, saying that there is no magic button or software for easy money online. Anything worth having takes hard work, and lots of it.

    1. Hi, Christopher!

Unfortunately, there are legions of binary options scams. Trading binary options with an unregistered broker like Magnum Options is nothing more than paying a lot of money for nothing.

If people would realize that making money online takes commitment and work, they could see these scams a mile away.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary
