What is The Malay Method?

In the Malay Method sales video, the narrator, Jake Shen, promises you will make more than $100,000 in 30 days, or he’ll pay you $10,000 cash out of his pocket.

As the video continues, Jake claims he has a 100% success rate turning ordinary people into millionaires.

What is The Malay Method

According to Jake, all you have to do to start making hundreds of thousands of dollars is to get his free Malay Method software, activate the program and click your mouse.

Several people in the video tell how they made hundreds of thousands of dollars with Jake’s Malay Method within 30 days of trying the system.

Is the Malay Method a Scam?

To be clear. You will not make money with the Malay Method; you will lose money.

The Malay Method website is almost identical to the Aussie Method website where another Jake, Jake Pertu, makes the same promises.

There is nothing special about the Malay Method. It’s just a long sales video designed to get you to open a binary options trading account and deposit a minimum of $250 with an unregistered broker.

They will try to trick you into depositing several thousand dollars. Please don’t do that.

You will not make money with the Malay Method. Every penny you give them is gone forever.

The Malay Method Earnings Disclaimer

Remember when Jake guaranteed you’d make more than a hundred thousand dollars in 30 days, or he would personally pay you $10,000? That’s a lie.

Jake is not a real person. If you search for Jake Shen on the internet, you will not find him. And the Malay Method Earnings Disclaimer clearly states they don’t guarantee a darn thing.

Scroll to the bottom of The Malay Method web page and click on “Disclaimer,” you can read it yourself.

Buried in the first paragraph, you’ll find this line, “THERE IS NO GUARANTEE YOU WILL EARN MONEY.”

In other words, the guarantees in the Malay Method video are meaningless.

The Malay Method Testimonials.

The Malay Method sales video has several testimonies from people claiming to have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars.

These testimonies are fake. At least two of the people giving testimonies are actors on Fiverr.com. They were paid to read a script.

What is The Malay Method, Really?

The Malay Method is NOT designed to make you money. The Malay Method is designed to rob you blind.

At best, trading binary options is very, very, very risky.

Trading binary options with an unregistered broker like The Malay Method is foolish. It’s just throwing money away.

To understand how dangerous it is to give The Malay Method broker your money, you must understand the difference between registered and unregistered brokers.

Registered and Unregistered Brokers.

Concerning binary options, there are registered brokers and unregistered brokers.

The Registered Broker.

In the United States, a registered broker is licensed by the Securities Exchange Commission. Every country with a securities exchange has an agency like the US SEC.

The point to remember is a registered broker must abide by certain laws and ethical guidelines to stay in business.

Keep in mind that trading binary options with a registered broker is still very risky and not advisable. Registered brokers will tell you that trading binary options is speculative. In other words, it’s gambling.

In the US, if a registered broker cheats you, you can ask the SEC to help you get your money back.

The Unregistered Broker.

On the other hand, an unregistered broker operates outside of the law. If an unregistered broker cheats you, there is nothing you can do about it, and nobody can help you.

If you give your money to an unregistered broker, like the broker for The Malay Method, your money is gone forever.

Calling an unregistered broker a broker is not accurate. They are not a broker. They don’t broker anything. They are merely a stranger taking your money.

The United States SEC has warned that unregistered brokers are suspected of illegal activities including taking people’s money, stealing identities and manipulating software.

If you open an account with The Malay Method broker, you will be assigned a personal broker. This person is a telemarketer who will try to trick you into depositing more than the $250 minimum.

They might try to trick you by manipulating the software, so it appears as if you made a lot of money quickly. This is not real money. The broker merely typed some numbers into the software, so it looks like you made money. You cannot take this “money” out.

The Malay Method broker is simply trying to convince you the software if real so you will put more money into it. They will try to get you to put thousands of dollars into the broker’s account. Every dollar you give them is gone forever.

The Last Word on The Malay Method

There are hundreds of websites like the Malay Method on the internet. Most of them have a few things in common. The story goes like this;

Our magic software will make you wealthy. It’s easy, and you can get it for free because we’re nice guys. Just sign up for free, activate the account and start making money.

You will NOT make money with The Malay Method. You will lose money. And, you will go deeply into debt if you are tricked into borrowing money to put in your brokerage account.

  1. Anyone promising to make you a millionaire over night is clearly in it to make a quick dollar off you.

The sad thing about it is these types of companies still make money promoting their false product.

If you’re looking to make some real money online, the good options will show you transparency, proof of success, and have a history of good reputation and valuable services.

Great input and info on the Malay Method. Thanks!

  2. Thanks for the heads up about the Malay Method scam. Hopefully these scam artists are arrested at some point before too many people lose their money. I like your point about an unregistered broker not being a broker at all, just a stranger taking your money. Its sad that there are so many scam artists on the internet but happily there are perfectly good ways to make honest money online.

  3. Thank you for this warning!

Unregistered brokers of this species are pretty devious it seems. The promises are so huge, and so eye-catching, it would be easy to fall prey to. This is especially dangerous for an experienced trader looking for a fast boost, I’m guessing.

Is there any online broker in particular that you would recommend? I haven’t really dealt with one, and I’ve been using the app Robinhood for my trading because it’s the only one I know of that charges neither trading fees or commissions.

    Thanks for your advice Gary!

  4. Gary, once again, thank you ever so much for wise us up about this new cowboy investment scheme. Personally, I’d be cautious of any scheme that encouraged you to deposit such a high figure as $250 upfront.
In a way, the way you describe it, the Malay Method reminds me of so many other websites available on the net which, with the aid of a video which follow similar patterns, promise you big earnings in a short time span, but then deny any responsibility, should that target not be met, with a disclaimer put at the bottom of the page in the smallest font ever (!!!).
I find it is only thanks to people such as yourself that we can learn to keep away from scam methods like this one. I feel it is regrettable that the net altogether is not better regulated to prevent scams such as this one from going live and con so many people of their hard earned cash.
Thank you ever so much 🙂

  5. At least the disclaimer is honest. Of course, very few will read it. Sound like one of those “if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is”. It’s too bad many people give money to these scams. You would think by now, they would smarten up. Hopefully, people will read this and stay away from it. Thanks for the information!

  6. Thanks Gary!

I like how clear you are up front (i.e. you will NOT make money with the Malay Method)!

    My takeaways are:
    – Always make sure to read the disclaimer
    – Do a quick Google Search to see if the person making these “guarantees” is actually a real person, and …
    – I guess people don’t have a problem promoting a scam as long as they are paid for a ‘fake testimonial’.

I appreciate your critical and honest review!
