Is Lucrosa a Scam?

is lucrosa a scam

Lucrosa promises you can make $7,000 a day, every day for the rest of your life, starting on day one. At the top of the website, it boldly guarantees you can make $210,000 every month! How can Lucrosa make such promises and guarantees?

John Lucrosa

John Lucrosa explains how he was a fund manager in London and helped make rich people richer. He claims he has been featured in leading financial magazines like Forbes, Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Now Lucrosa prefers to keep a low profile and teach ordinary people how to make million dollar pay days. Indeed, he claims that members of his team earn an average of $2.5 million of profit each year.

He has developed the most powerful trading software in the world, and he will give it to you for free. All that is required of you is to activate the software. With his software, Lucrosa says anyone can make thousands of dollars a day.

I wish it were true.

What Is Lucrosa?

The sales video on the Lucrosa website is fiction. It’s not real. John Lucrosa is not real. He’s an actor playing the role of John Lucrosa.

Nothing about the video is true. The Lucrosa Disclaimer states the video is fiction and should be viewed only as entertainment. In other words, all the promises the character John Lucrosa made in the video are lies. Furthermore, they DO NOT guarantee you a darn thing.

All the images of wealth, the aerial view of the London financial district, the mansions, vacations to exotic places, beautiful women, luxury cars, all of that is nothing but a tease trying to make you believe Mr. Lucrasa’s software can make you wealthy overnight.

If you give Lucrosa your email and sign up, you will be sent to a second webpage with another video with more titillating images of wealth and promises of making lots of money. You will also be told to give them more information, including your phone number.

Ultimately, Lucrosa is trying to get you to open a binary options trading account with an unregistered broker and deposit at least $250. The $250 deposit is just the beginning; they will try to trick you into depositing much more, perhaps thousands of dollars more. And when you do, they will keep your money!

The Lucrosa Software.

The Lucrosa website and software is not designed to help you make money. The promises of making lots of money are just the bait that lures you into the trap.

The Lucrosa website and software is designed to steal your money, as much of it as they can get and as fast as they can get it.

Lucrosa and Unregulated Brokers.

Lucrosa will lead you to an unregulated broker. An unregulated broker operates outside of the laws of the United States. In other words, they can say and do anything they want, including making wild promises of earning millions and stealing your money.

The United States Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) warns that unregulated brokers are suspected of taking people’s money, stealing identities and manipulating software to force losing trades. You cannot win with an unregulated broker.

Read the Lucrosa Disclaimer!

You will find a link to the Lucrosa Disclaimer at the bottom of the Lucrosa website. Read the disclaimer and you will see in their own words they clearly state that binary options trading is highly risky and may result in loss of your entire investment.

Buried deep in the disclaimer Lucrosa admits that they are not licensed to give financial advice and that they are not regulated in any way, and that you may suffer a total loss of all of your money!

Lucrosa Cannot Be Trusted.

The Locrosa website at first appears to be in the United States, but according to ScamAdviser, the true location is hidden. ScamAdviser also gives the website a low trust rating.

The Last Word on Lucrosa.

Trading binary options is very risky, even for the pros who trade with licensed and regulated brokers. Brokers that are regulated by the SEC will never make wild promises of making millions because that is illegal. The truth is, most people lose money with binary options.

Attempting to trade binary options with an unregulated broker in an unknown country is foolish. The Lucrosa enterprise is trying to play you for a fool.

If they can make you feel greedy enough to open an account with $250, they will probably manipulate the software to show you made a lot of money fast, but they won’t let you take this money out. Instead, they will try to trick you into depositing a lot more money.

If you fall for their trick, you might even borrow against your credit cards, cash out your retirement, borrow against your home, and borrow from friends and family. Many people have, and this is what Lucrosa is counting on you to do too.

If you fall for their scheme, you will lose it all.

I wish there were a magic software and a kind millionaire who would make you rich overnight. There isn’t. In eight years of working online, I have not found it and don’t expect to. What I have found is a lot of empty promises leading to diabolical scams that ruin people’s lives.

    thanks for the information.

    1. Hi, Eric!

You are welcome. I’m glad you found my article about Lucrosa helpful. Their sales video is very persuasive so I can understand why you found it attractive. Someone was indeed watching out for you when your credit card failed.

      Thanks for stopping by,
      Gary

  2. Hi Gary
My guard always goes up, when I read something that promises one 7grand a day! Absolute nonsense.

I should have known that this had to do with binary options. I have tried it before and I got burnt pretty bad.

It is risky and highly volatile. Thanks for the heads up on Lucrosa, will be staying away from them.

    Keep up the excellent work
    Regards

  3. Hi Gary,

I don’t know which is worse, make money online scams or investment scams like Lucrosa. One thing is to go after people’s hard earned money and promise them a paycheck… another is to go after their savings.

    Not cool.

I’ve come to the realization that landing pages like these that only have a sales video tend to not share what the company’s really about.

I can say this, John Lucrosa will NOT be taking my money… especially for binary options.

    Pfft.

    Thanks,
    Diana

    1. Hi, Diana!

I agree. Sales pages and videos like Lucrosa are designed to make people feel greedy for their scam. Binary options is, at best, gambling and at worse, like with Lucrosa, a scam.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  4. Good of you to take out time to expose fake money making websites like this lucrosa thing.
The fact that the name John Lucrosa is just an actor playing a role is the red flag but ironically some people will still be gullible enough to fall for this.
    Thanks for the heads up.

  5. It’s very sad how some companies depend on deception to earn. Thank you for clearing up what an unregulated broker is. I personally had no knowledge on them and now my eyes are open. I think it’s crazy that they have the audacity to say that their video is for entertainment purposes in their disclaimer. Unbelievable! Thank you so much for warning us about Lucrosa!

  6. hello
I had never heard of Lucrosa before. It seems like a well designed scam, that has probably duped a lot of people, especially those who want to earn money quickly, with little effort,Another way of promoting binary options. I’ve seen a lot of promotions lately about binary options, some from traders who swear that they make money.finding an article like this one is something good because anyone who’ve seen this won’t fall in the trap of Lucrosa.

  7. Wow!
It is amazing how many scams are actually out there. With so many people looking to make extra income from home it is easy to see how so many fall for these scams.
They make their product sound so good and lucrative. Lucky there is people like you reporting on these scams so people like me don’t fall for them!

  8. Geez Gary. I am glad there are people like you out there reporting to us on the good, bad, and ugly websites out there. I have never even heard of Lucrosa until coming across your page but now I know to stay away. Now that you’ve peaked my interest, I’m going to check out some of your other pages.

    1. Hi!

I appreciate your comment. Yes, indeed! There are some crummy websites out that promising to make people rich and only stealing them blind. The Lucrosa Scam isn’t even the worst in the bunch. I’ll never be able to investigate them all, but I’ll try.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  9. Hey…The review is really informative. I have never heard of Lucrosa before, but i have been scammed by so many fake programs online as they are too many out there. So, finding an article like this one is something good because anyone who’ve seen this won’t fall in the trap of Lucrosa.

    1. Hi, Armstrong!

Sorry to hear you’ve been scammed, but that seems to be part of the education process of learning to make money online. I hope it was not too expensive. I’ve fallen for a few scams myself, starting back before the internet.

One of the most satisfying experiences of investigating scams is when I get a message from someone who avoided getting ripped off after reading something I’ve written. Binary options scams like Lucrosa can be painfully expensive and devastating to a family.

I wish more people would take the time to read the disclaimer and understand them. Or, at least do a little research.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  10. Right off the bat when anyone tells me I can make $7000 a day the red flags immediately come flying up. The statement alone is laughable. It was smart for the author to look at the disclaimer and find out right away that the video is a scam. This article is written well. there are plenty of facts to backup their review. If iI was looking for the facts on Lucrosa this site would more than suffice to give me the information I was seeking.

    1. Hi, Patrick!

I appreciate your kind words. I agree, a promise of making $7,000 a day is laughable, but apparently people fall for it. If you’re desperate, you are likely to believe most anything. Also, I think some people are addicted to these scams. They get a dopamine rush when they believe they will soon be rich, although part of them knows it a fantasy.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  11. Hi, Gary
Another way of promoting binary options. I’ve seen a lot of promotions lately about binary options, some from traders who swear that they make money. But i have also read a lot of bad reports as well. Your post relates to another ‘promise them riches’ way of LOSING money. Why anybody would risk their hard earned on an unregulated broker is beyond me.
As you say, it helps to read the disclaimer!
    Thanks, cheers

    1. Hi, Greg!

Binary options, at best, with a licensed and registered broker, is like placing bets with a bookie. It really isn’t investing. In the truest sense, professional stock traders consider binary options as derivatives. If you trade binary options, you don’t own anything of value, you are simply placing a bet that the asset will behave a specific way at a specific time. Statistically, that is almost impossible to get right. It’s like trying to shoot a moving target. And that is with a registered broker!

Giving money to an unregistered broker in hopes of making money is like giving a petty thief your wallet and hoping for the best. It ain’t going to end well!

Actually, it is a mistake to even refer to unregistered brokers as brokers. They are nothing more than the recipient of your money. They are not brokering any trades. They are just taking your money. Lucrosa is just one of dozens of such scams.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary

  12. I had never heard of Lucrosa before. It seems like a well designed scam, that has probably duped a lot of people, especially those who want to earn money quickly, with little effort.

Do you know if there are any way for authorities in countries like the US to shut them down, or are they protected by using offshore resources?

I have never run into Lucrosa, but I’m sure I will, sooner or later.

    1. Hi, Eddie!

The Lucrosa sales page is very well done and convincing. In the past few months I’ve written a lot about binary options scams. The US and Canada has blocked some of the websites. The difference between the ones that are blocked and the ones that are not blocked appears to be the earnings disclaimer.

The sites that are blocked either don’t have an earnings disclaimer or it is very cryptic. The sites that are permitted often state in the disclaimer that the sales video is fiction, that trading binary options is very risky and that they don’t guarantee anything. Which is the complete opposite of the sales pitch. Unfortunately, most people hear what they want to hear and never read the disclaimer.

Ultimately, these sites are off-shore so there is little anyone can do about them other than to block access via the browsers.

      Thanks for stopping by,

      Gary
