Affiliate Blogger Pro, also known as Rosalind Gardner’s Academy, is not a scam. However, the training material within Affiliate Blogger Pro is outdated and there is essentially no support. At best, support is simply a forum where members can ask questions of other members. Honestly, when I was a member of Affiliate Blogger Pro in February ’15, there had been no activity on the forum for over 18 months. There are better alternatives to Affiliate Blogger Pro. How to Really Make Money Online and Never Get Scammed
Affiliate Blogger Pro Product Overview
Affiliate Blogger Pro is billed as a multi-media membership site where you can learn from the “Queen of Affiliate Marketing,” Rosalind Gardner, author of the best-seller The Super Affiliate Handbook: How I Made $436,797 Last Year Selling Other People’s Stuff Online which was published in 2003. At that time, Ms. Gardner’s book was considered by many to be the bible of affiliate marketing.
Rosalind Gardner, Affiliate Marketing Pioneer.
Rosalind Gardner began her affiliate marketing career in 1998 when she launched a dating blog with ads for dating websites. There is no doubt that Ms. Gardner is the real deal, a legitimate pioneer in affiliate marketing. Her books may well have helped thousands succeed online.
On the sales page for Affiliate Blogger Pro, Ms. Gardner explains how she essentially turned her book into a membership site where the content is presented in videos.
That’s the issue I have with Affiliate Blogger Pro. It’s dated and it’s not maintained. Even her most recent book is 8 years old. The Affiliate Blogger Pro site was established in September 2010 and based on a book written in 2003. That’s ancient history on the internet.
I don’t question Ms. Gardner’s sincerity.
On her sales letter, Ms. Gardner comes across as sincerely genuine. I’m convinced she is. I joined Affiliate Blogger Pro because it came highly recommended from a credible source and because of Ms. Gardner’s sincerity. At the time, I thought I had finally found a real, honest-to-goodness place to learn how to make money online.
Unfortunately, once I got inside Affiliate Blogger Pro as a member and started working through the training videos, I began to suspect that her methods were dated. For one, she teaches back-link building through article marketing and blog commenting. Both of these methods are no longer viable. Plus, there’s no training on how to use social media, a crucial part of the online success puzzle.
Not only that but her examples of building a website are based on a very old version of WordPress. There’s no mention of Response or Mobile Ready themes, which are essential to reach the very large and growing mobile segment of the online market. The WordPress platform has changed dramatically over the years, but her training videos don’t show this. In the training videos, the WordPress Dashboard looks entirely different than the current Dashboard. It’s very confusing.
The Support is Dismal.
When I wanted some clarity on the WordPress issues, the only place I could ask questions was in the member’s forum, but there had been no activity in the forum for over a year. I felt like I was the only person alive in an Old West ghost town. The lights were on, but nobody was home.
A Better Alternative.
It was at that point that I searched online for more information about Affiliate Blogger Pro. Information was scarce, but my search did lead me to an ethical community that teaches the most up to date methods for making money online. I was so impressed with this community that I cancelled my membership with Affiliate Blogger Pro and joined.
Finding this new community was a blessing from the start. They’re the real deal and thanks to their excellent training and support, I wake up every morning eager to work on my online business. Read more about it here.
Meanwhile, Back at Affiliate Blogger Pro.
Getting back to Affiliate Blogger Pro, there’s another thing you should know. Their sales have not been good for a long time. Below is a screen shot from CBEngine.com which shows the sales of Affiliate Blogger Pro. The figures on the left is an indication of the number of sales over an eight week period. Dates are listed across the bottom of the graph.
My Thoughts on Affiliate Blogger Pro.
Here’s what I think about Affiliate Blogger Pro. Rosalind Gardner has taken the wealth she made online and sailed into the sunset. I’m confident she’s a reputable woman and her books and training probably helped many people in the day, but times have changed. The internet has evolved through a g-zillion changes since then.
Back when Ms. Gardner made her fortune, Google was in its infancy. Now, Google is a highly sophisticated global behemoth and getting smarter by the second.
How to Really Make Money Online and Never Get Scammed
The Truth as I see it.
The truth is, it’s darn difficult to find a sincere, honest and ethical teacher who can show you how to succeed online. That’s why I desperately wanted to believe I had found my teacher in Rosalind Gardner. I truly applied myself to her training, but soon lost confidence in the material. It was just too dated. Fortunately, through her I did find the real deal.
I’m convinced anyone can make a good living online and enjoy the personal freedom of working for themselves, if they get honest-to-goodness training, the real stuff, the stuff that works. But there’s so much hype online and so many wolves in sheep’s clothing ready to rip you off with some bright shiny scam. It’s hard to know what’s real.
Here’s what I’ve learned from my experience with Affiliate Blogger Pro:
If you want to succeed online, you need to be part of a living, breathing community that truly wants you to succeed. Regardless of your skill level, you need to have the most up to date training. And you need to be respected as a human being and dealt with honestly.
In its day, you might have gotten this from Rosalind Gardner and Affiliate Blogger Pro, but that time has passed.
The Good & the Bad.
The Good:
-Focused on building authority sites
-Step-by-step training videos
-Taught by Ms. Gardner who has succeeded with the methods she teaches.
The Bad:
-Training is outdated
-No support.
-Your questions will not be answered.
-As a member of Affiliate Blogger Pro, you’ll be on your own.
Who is Affiliate Blogger Pro For?
Beginners.
Affiliate Blogger Pro Tools & Training.
There are no tools inside Affiliate Blogger Pro, just training videos based on a book published in 2003 and an inactive forum.
Affiliate Blogger Pro Support.
The only support is the inactive forum. There’s no way to contact Ms. Gardner or anyone else associated with the site.
Affiliate Blogger Pro Price.
$27 a month.
My Final Opinion of Affiliate Blogger Pro:
Affiliate Blogger Pro is not a scam. However, the training material within Affiliate Blogger Pro is outdated and there’s essentially no support. At best, support is simply a forum where members ask questions of other members. When I was a member of Affiliate Blogger Pro, there had been no activity on the forum for over 18 months. Fortunately, there are better alternatives to Affiliate Blogger Pro. Read about my top recommendation here.

All the best…
It looks like Rosalind is a really successful and reputable women in the affiliate marketing world. I can see that she is really genuine at helping people from the things she is offering and the reasonable price she is charging.
But I think having up-to-date information is very important in today’s ever-changing world. So I guess Affiliate Blogger Pro is a thing of the past despite it used to be a really good training course. What a pity!
Hi, Jerry!
Back in the day, I think Rosalind’s training was dynamite. Unfortunately, the strategy she teaches of building a site and tons backlinks stopped working about 4 years ago with the Google Panda update. It’s unfortunate that she hasn’t kept her training current. When I last visited the Affiliate Blogger Pro members area, it looked like a digital ghost town.

Hi Gary,
Is Rosalind really still promoting her book “The Super Affiliate Handbook” that was written in 2003? That seems a little dated don’t you think?
I guess she is riding the wave of her prior success until it crashes. However, I didn’t realize you could look at sales from Click Bank products with CBengine, that is definitely useful information.
However, someone just starting out my not think to check that but if they knew she was only selling 1-2 sales per 6 weeks I’m sure they would walk away.
Thanks for the in-depth review, hopefully it will help save some people some money!
Hi, Jeremy!
Not only is Rosalind still selling her book on Amazon, the Kindle version is $19.95 and the paperback is $24.45! As you mentioned, it hasn’t been updated in over 10 years. That’s ancient history on the internet. Her method is building small niche sites with a lot of phony back links. That worked back in the day, but not anymore. That method will just be a waste of time now.

A case of no product development. Maybe she already has a shiny new product somewhere else?
The speed at which online marketing is developing seems to be accelerating. You really can’t just depend on a static strategy anymore. You’re right about social networking being integral to today’s online biz. In fact, i make more money through facebook than my website.
Hi, Regina!
You bring up a good point, but I think she’s retired.
You are so right, online marketing is indeed accelerating. While I do think there are some enduring fundamental strategies, online reputation is becoming more critical. It is as if we are living in a small town and everyone knows who they can trust or not trust. The difference, of course is that we now have access to the world. Ultimately, we must provide value if we hope to succeed.

Firstly Gary, can I say you have a very professional site and provide information in a very clear and interesting way.
I agree with you that Wealthy Affiliate is a great community with solid training programs and some great features. Members certainly get into it and love being a part of it.
I want to be able to make a full time income online within a year. I know that’s an incredibly ambitious goal, do you think Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to do this?
Thanks
Deb
Hi, Deb!
Thank you for your kind words.
I agree Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to learn how to make money online. It is possible to earn a full-time income within 12 months. I know people who have done it. However, as you mentioned it is an ambitious goal and I caution you to not push yourself that hard.
Please remember the internet is not an ATM. There is no magic button, no magic software, no secret sauce or magical guru who will make you rich.
The internet simply gives access to the global marketplace. It’s up to your to bring something of value to the market. Wealthy Affiliate shows you how to do this.
Getting back to your goal of earning a full-time income in 12 months, so much depends of a multitude of variables, such as, what is a full-time income for you, how much do you already know about internet marketing, how much time you can spend pursuing your goal each day, how much money you can spend to reach your goal, how well you can focus on a task and the niche you choose.
It takes time for the search engines to properly identify a new website, trust it and to rank it properly. It also takes time for people to find and trust you and your website.
When we pursue a goal, it’s tempting to think in straight lines, but the truth is, the path to success is rarely straight. Online success is no different and there is a lot of trial and error as you learn.
If you set your goal to earn a full time income in 12 months, you risk getting frustrated and quitting. Your greatest risk of failure is if you quit. Don’t let that happen.
Deb, I encourage you to commit to your goal of earning a full-time income, but don’t limit the time it will take, because success takes as long as it takes. Commit to your goal and focus on learning the skills required to make it happen knowing the money will come.

Hi there Gary,
Thank you kindly for your top quality and indepth review. Really appreciated.
Got to be said that it sounds like it would – and great emphasis on the would – be a great product if it was properly maintained and kept up to date. At the end of the day if the product owner does nt care so much about the product why should the end user the consumer?
Hi Derek Marshall!
You make a great point. If the owner doesn’t care, why should anyone else.
In it’s day, I think Affiliate Blogger Pro would have been helpful, but the internet has evolved way past that now.
If someone wants to learn how to make money online, I recommend they read this article.

Thanks a lot for the honest review and the warning. Internet marketing products, and communities for that matter, that aren’t even updated or better yet have any support when you pay a membership should definitely be avoided. On the other hand, your top recommendation wealthy affiliate is certainly a place to ask and mingle with other internet marketers, along with the latest updated training on the internet!
Hi, Antonis Christonasis!
You are so right. The internet is changing by the minute and if someone wants to succeed with an online business they need real time training and support. This is more than any one person or product can provide. It takes a community and that is exactly why I recommend Wealthy Affiliate.

Gary
Thankyou for an insiders review of this program. One of the things I found throughout my online journey is that it can be a very lonely experience – having the support network available truly makes a difference. If people are looking for that then this does not sound like the ideal program for them. It is about making the right choice for the individual and for many the support of a good community can be key to their success. Thanks for putting this review together.
Cheers
Julie
Hi, Julie!
You make a good point and one I often forget. Building an online business can indeed be a lonely experience. This may be one of the reasons newbies get drawn into scams. On our own, there is no way to verify if an offer is legitimate other than to search online. And, as I’m sure you know, most positive reviews online are from affiliates trying to make money, so their opinion is considerably biased.
However, as a member of an online community a newbie can consult with friends and trusted teachers to find out if an offer is a scam or legit. Having the support of the Wealthy Affiliate community is a blessing and has been instrumental to my online success.

Hi Gary
I like your honest and clear review of Affiliate Blogger Pro. It’s so very difficult to find a reliable group to join on the internet for Affiliate Marketing but your experience and recommendation gives one confidence that there are still good things out there on the internet. Thanks
Hi, Gerry!
Affiliate Blogger Pro probably served a legitimate purpose back in the day when small niche websites made money, but that’s ancient history now. Those small niche sites don’t make money now unless paid traffic is driven to them. Also, Affiliate Blogger Pro really isn’t maintained or supported, so there’s no point in getting involved with it.
Considering all the scams online, I’m reminded of a quote I heard years ago when I was in an MLM. (I don’t recommend MLMs, but that is a story for another day).
The quote was “Money makes us more of who we are.” If we’re jerk when we’re broke, we’ll only be a bigger jerk when we’re rich. I think the internet has a similar effect.
Small scams are magnified with the internet. Plus, the internet gives the scammer the luxury of never having to face his or her victims. This makes it easier for people who would never scam someone in person to become scammers online.
That said, I have written about legitimate places anyone can learn how to make money online. You can read the article here.

Hi Gary
I do agree with your comparison of Affiliate Blogger Pro to Wealthy Affiliate. Before becoming a WA member I checked out some similar programs, and didn’t linger too long on Affiliate Blogger Pro as it hasn’t kept up with the market.
I personally am not convinced of Ms. Gardeners sincerity.
It just doesn’t seem that she has here clients best interests in mind. Get the money and run!
Hi, Keith!
You bring up a good point about Ms. Gardener’s sincerity. If she was sincere she would either update her course or take it down.
Thanks for stopping by,
Gary
Why join Affiliate Blogger Pro when it is clearly outdated. I’m sure she was really something in her day, but things have changed. I’m truly satisfied with Wealthy Affiliate’s training and their tools. I have built out 3 websites and they are quite to my satisfaction. In addition to the websites, I have learned about how to use Socia Media to leverage business. I have also learned about pit falls to avoid.
Thank you,
Edward Mijarez
Hi, Edward!
I don’t know why she keeps the site up. I agree with you. Wealthy Affiliate has evolved with the internet and continues to promote the best strategies for earning money online. I’d be lost without it.

Hey Gary,
You’re true to the point when you say it’s darn difficult to get a really genuine teacher to teach you how make a significant amount of income online.
About this program, Rosalind did put some effort to teach people but she didn’t bother to update her training as the internet evolved, and that’s what I believe led to it loosing the “touch”.
Hi, Dave!
I agree. I’m convinced Rosalind is sincere and that Affiliate Blogger Pro was at one time a good place to learn. As you mentioned, she neglected to up date her training.

Gary
